A prayer for renewal

Lord,

     Please renew my spirit. The hardships of life can wear me down and leave me feeling hopeless, discouraged, and far from you. Would your Spirit wash over me afresh and replenish the joy and peace that this world tries to steal. You are always creating and doing a new thing, so please do a new thing in my heart today. Renew my spirit, mind, and body so I can serve you from a place of refreshment.
